Obituary
Thelma Eileen (Delauter) Monninger, 76, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.
She was born on June 22, 1946, in Hagerstown, MD to the late John William and Thelma Florence (Cline) Delauter.
She was a 1964 graduate of Williamsport High School in Williamsport, MD.
Thelma was employed by Rosemary’s Florist in Williamsport, MD as a Designer and Delivery Driver for 51 years.
She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church in Hagerstown, MD.
Thelma enjoyed cooking and baking, she even took a cake decorating class and made cakes for various weddings, birthdays, and other events. Thelma truly loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Shannon Kehne and fiance’ Doug Nicodemus of Fairplay, MD; brother John Delauter of Clear Spring, MD; sister Peggy Speaker of Hagerstown, MD; brother Jack Delauter of Williamsport, MD; brother Steve Delauter and his significant other “Taz” of Greencastle, PA; brother Doug Delauter and his significant other Sherry of Fairplay, MD; granddaughter Brooke Keplinger and fiance’ Saquan Pachot of Waynesboro, PA; granddaughter Julia Kehne; granddaughter Charlotte Nicodemus; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her ex-husband Raymond Monninger; brother-in-law Ronald Speaker; great grandson Kane Wilson Pachot.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 11:00 am with Rev. Jeffrey Casto officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Thelma's home care nurse Carrie Demory, her healthcare team, and Dr. Sanjay Saxena and Mary Ruth.
