Todd Leroy Marshall

Sharpsburg, MD – Todd Leroy Marshall, 57, of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at his home with his loved ones by his side.

He was born on June 16, 1964 near Antietam Furnace outside of Sharpsburg, MD to Viola Lorraine Crampton Marshall and the late Walter Leroy Marshall.

Todd was a 1982 graduate of Boonsboro High School and Career Studies Center. He was involved in basketball and track.

He entered the Army National Guard Reserves.  He served for 5 years.

Todd was a skilled welder at LF Machine in Frederick, MD for the last 25 years.  He was often requested by customers for his detailed customized work.  He has also played a big part in sponsoring the Belly Busters food truck business.

Growing up a country boy, Todd spent a lot of time swimming and fishing in the creek and river nearby with friends and cousins.

His favorite things in adult life have been family, hunting, shooting matches, finding the famous morel mushrooms, growing his garden, and hanging out with his buddies.

He was of the Christian Faith.

Besides his mother, he is survived by daughter Tiffany N. Marshall and her boyfriend Walter Weaver of Williamsburg, PA; daughter Bethany A. Marshall Hess and her husband Justin of Boonsboro, MD; brother Terry E. Marshall and his wife Martha of Hagerstown, MD; brother Keith D. Marshall and his wife Dinah of Sharpsburg, MD; brother Timothy F. Marshall and his wife Detra of Hagerstown, MD; sister Tina L. Marshall Stotelmyer and her husband Richard of Keedysville, MD; grandchildren Bailey and Landen Fulton.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his cousin and best buddy Jeffrey L. Benner.

Many thanks to the Nurses and Aides on the 4th Floor of Meritus Medical Center and Hospice of Washington County.  Also, many thanks to friends, neighbors and Belly Busters for their support during this time.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Sunday for the convenience of family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Mt. View Cemetery in Sharpsburg, MD on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating.  Military honors will be provided by Joint Veterans Council and Marine Corps League of Hagerstown, MD.
