Trixie Bernida McPherson

Hagerstown, Maryland-Trixie Bernida McPherson, 83 of Hagerstown, MD went home to be with the Lord October 5, 2019.  She passed away surrounded by her loved ones.

Born April 15, 1936 in Williamsport, MD, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Virgie M. Bowers Stevens.

She retired in 2010 from Maryland Ribbon after 43 years.

She was a member of Red Feather Council #59 Degree of Pocahontas, a lifetime member of Moose International and a lifetime member of Amvets Post #10.

Trixie is survived by a daughter Robin Smith and husband Jack, son Robert McPherson, Daughter Cindy Powell and daughter Stephanie Huffman and husband Clarence.  She is a loving grandma of 11 amazing grandchildren, 25 wonderful great grandchildren, 10 awesome great-great grandbabies and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her daughters Jo Marie McPherson and Joy Daley, a son Joseph McPherson, sisters Dorothy H. Staley, Margaret M. Resh, Freda V. Reid and brothers John R. Stevens, Jr. and Vernon R. Stevens and 2 of her grandchildren Thomas E. Powell, III and Joni M. Daley.

The family will receive friends on Thursday October 10, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD 21795.  For the convenience of family and friends the funeral home will open Thursday at 9:00am.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 11, 2019 at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Harris officiating.

Trixie will be laid to rest next to her parents and twin daughters at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD.
