Williamsport, Maryland- Valarie Mae Stovall, 75 of Williamsport, MD passed away on Thursday June 28, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.
She was born on October 7, 1942 in Washington, DC and was a graduate of Oxon Hill High School. She was of the Methodist faith.
Valarie retired from the Northeast Board of Dental Examiners in Silver Spring, MD. She was currently working at the Washington County Free Library in Hagerstown, MD.
She was an avid reader and loved gardening, fishing and being on the water. She was a prankster and loved playing jokes and loved making people laugh but most of all, she loved her family.
Valarie is survived by her son Buddy Scott and his partner Chuck of Fort Washington, MD, a daughter Terri Scott of Falling Waters, WV, a daughter Jan Barnhill of Williamsport, MD, grandchildren Jennifer, Katelyn, Matthew and Carly, great grandchildren Mackenzie, Brayden and Madelyn, sister Pat Hall of LaPlata, MD, nieces Cheryl and Laura Lee, nephew Ivan, Sister Gail Hall and her husband Mike of Colonial Beach, VA and special friends JoEllen and Henry.
There will be no viewing.
Services and burial will be private.
