Vicki Sharon Lowery

Sharpsburg, MD – Vicki Sharon Lowery, 76, of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on January 15, 1945 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Percy Maxwell “Max” and Hazel Lorraine Snapp Sweeney.

Vicki was a 1963 graduate of Boonsboro High School in Boonsboro, MD.

Vicki had a variety of occupations throughout her working life, but most memorable were her years at Jack & Doris’s Club in Shepherdstown, WV.

She attended Valley Grace Brethren Church in Halfway, MD and previously attended Christ Reformed United Church of Christ in Sharpsburg, MD.

Vicki enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and socializing. But her joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and other family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Kelly J. Stewart and her husband Donald of Rome, PA; daughter Stephanie A. Calp and her husband Tony of Williamsport, MD; daughter Beth A. Kocur and her husband John of Pittsburgh, PA; son James P. “Jamie” Lowery and his wife Mari of Williamsport, MD; son Rodney E. “Butch” Glenn, II and his wife Jaime of Sharpsburg, MD; previous husband Dennis G. Lowery of Hagerstown, MD; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters Patti Pena and Pete Hamburg; brother Jerry Sweeney.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, Md on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dan Pritchett officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery in Sharpsburg, MD.
