Wallace Leroy "Buddy" Miller

Falling Waters, WV – Wallace Leroy “Buddy” Miller, 85, of Falling Waters, WV passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, WV.

He was born on October 3, 1937, in Falling Waters, WV to the late John Leroy and Margaret Jane (Cole) Miller. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Patsy Dellinger.

Buddy was a 1955 graduate of Martinsburg High School and was a veteran of the Army and Air National Guard. Buddy was a lifelong patriot.

He was a past member of Izaak Walton League of America Berkeley County Chapter.and an early member of the Marlowe Ruritan.

 Buddy enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids, vacationing with his family at Myrtle Beach and reading about American History.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Lorraine (McCardell) Miller whom he married on July 12, 1971; son Randy Hart and his fiancee’ Amy Hetzer; son David Hart and wife Starla; son Chris Miller and fiancee’ Kim Lykins; grandchildren Staci Dagenhart, Danae Park, Brian Hart, Dylan Hart, and Lucas Miller; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at Marlowe Assembly of God Church 9045 Williamsport Pike Falling Waters, WV on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 11:00 am with Pastor Randy Reid officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.
