Hagerstown, MD – Wilma L. DeLawter, 81, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, Md.
She was born on January 8, 1939 in Cherry Run, WV to the late Bruce Elwood and Glenna Lee McCullough Payne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude E. “Jack” DeLawter on August 1, 2011.
Wilma was a 1957 graduate of Williamsport High School in Williamsport, MD.
She was employed by Citicorp in Hagerstown, MD until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Funkstown, MD.
She is survived by her daughter Jacquelyn K. Nally and her husband Larry of Halfway, MD; grandchildren Logan Nally of Halfway, MD, Spencer Nally and his wife Tiffany of Fairplay, MD, Michael Nally and his wife Kelly of Hagerstown, MD; great granddaughter Aryanne; great grandson Ryan; sister Ruth Byers of Hedgesville, WV; sister Betty Englehart of Smithsburg, MD; and a daughter in law.
She was predeceased by a son Michael B. DeLawter and a brother Leo Payne.
There will be no viewing.
A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Michael K. Louia officiating.
