I met Amy 26 yrs ago when I moved to Williamsport, she and I became friends quickly. she and I would hang out with big bill, an my new born baby girl Amanda. she would make fun of her slobber coming out of her mouth [she was cutting teeth] she would say she reminds me of a dog drooling. we would laugh [did u just compare my daughter to a dog] an just laugh about it she loved going to the park with us. It breaks my heart, to see hear of her pass away. when ever her appliances would break she would call my husband[ he repairs appliances] for advice on how to fix it or get him[ David] to come fix it....we would talk about old times, and she would say I cant believe you guys are still together. God need one of his angels back. God bless over your family and your sons. RIP MY FRIEND......UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN....... kay call

Dear family and friends of Amy,

I would like to offer our deepest condolences in regards to your recent loss. As a Bible Educator I would like to share some promising hopes given to us by our Creator.

Acts 24:15 says, "there shall be a resurrection of dead." How exciting that we can once again see our loved ones that have passed!

But until that time we can find comfort from our God at 2 Corinthians 1:3 where it says, "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort."

I hope that I have helped lessen the pain of your loss and your and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Judy Hoffman

I met Amy not in school or not by knowing her sister Julie. But we met one night out before she even got with Kevin. We became friends instantly and occasionally have dinner and drinks. After a few times doing so we ran into each other in the grocery store where she was with her sister (Julie). I had went to school with Julie since Middle school never knowing she had a younger sister. It was surprising to learn and actually how small of a world it truly was. Then my dear friend fell in love and married so our outings stopped but our friendship certainly didn't. As she married into a family I had been a friend of for life as the years past we didn't keep in contact as much. Amy definitely was spitfire... She was a loving caring kind person. Beautiful both inside and out.Never wanting to beat anything around the bush.. If you was afraid to say something she was not afraid to say for you!! I hadn't spoke to Amy in a few months normally we would say Hi hope all is well over Facebook since I moved 3 yrs ago to Texas. To her boys, Julie and The Deaner Family My Deepest Sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you!! Kevin and The Shirley Family My Deepest Sympathy and My thoughts and prayers are with you also!! Amy my friend RIP my sweet Angel!! Til we meet again!
