Donna Lee Pike

Hagerstown, MD – Donna Lee Pike, 80, of Hagerstown, MD and formerly of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her home.

She was born on June 28, 1936 in Hagerstown, MD to the late John Preston Sr. and Edna Earle Rowland Martin.

She was a 1954 graduate of Hagerstown High School Hagerstown, MD.

Donna was a Bus Driver for the Washington County Commissioners for the Washington County Commuter for over 18 years until retiring in 1996.  She was previously employed as a School Bus Driver with the Washington County Board of Education for 11 years.

She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church Martinsburg, WV and also Emmanuel United Methodist Church Hagerstown, MD.

She was also a member of Community Rescue Service in the 1980’s. A member of Berkeley Senior Center Martinsburg, WV and EGO (Enjoy Growing Older) Sponsored by City Hospital Martinsburg, WV.

Donna is survived by two daughters Sherri A. Messerli and her husband Scott of Kearneysville, WV and Kristen M. Pike and her wife Kelli Summers of Williamsport, MD; son James M. Mullendore and his friend Anna Miles of Myersville, MD; granddaughters Heather Mullendore, Elise Messerli and Christiane Messerli and special friends Gary L. Carter of Hagerstown, MD and Sara Scott of Hagerstown, MD

She was predeceased by a daughter Beverly D. Damasiewicz, son Malcolm S. Mullendore and a brother John P. Martin, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel United Methodist Church 802 Summit Avenue Hagerstown, MD on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 7:00 pm with Rev. Randy Reid officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday from 6:00-7:00 pm.
