Kathleen Anne Blahut

Williamsport, MD – Kathleen Anne Blahut, 74, of Williamsport, MD and formerly of Silver Spring, MD passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on December 30, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Pittsburgh, PA Fire Chief Stephen P. Adley and Frances Collins Adley.

She was a 1959 graduate of St. Benedict’s Academy Pittsburgh, PA.

Kathleen was employed as a Staff Accountant with British Aeronautical Engineering of Silver Spring, MD for over 25 years until retiring in 2006.

She was a member of St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church Williamsport, MD.

She was also a member of Potomac Fish & Game Club Ladies Auxiliary Williamsport, MD; Amvets Post #38 Auxiliary Falling Waters, WV; Potomac Post #202 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Williamsport,  MD and Red Feather Council #59 Degree of Pocahontas Williamsport, MD.

Kathleen is survived by her husband of 54 years Regis T. Blahut; daughter Beth A. McGinnity and her husband Joe of Gaithersburg, MD; son Regis T. Blahut, Jr. and his wife Kim of Adamstown, MD; son Stephen P. Blahut and his wife Eileen of Adamstown, MD; loving grandchildren Brendan, Kevin, Nicole, Regis, Sean and Kelly; brother S. Patrick Adley, M.D. and his wife Dottie of Omaha, NE.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter Molly McGinnity.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church 32 E. Potomac St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 am with Father Stephen Hook celebrant. 

Burial will be private.
