My sincere condolences to Sifu's family. Sifu Wayne was the first to open the way for my path of many martial arts. Always happy and cheerful "yeah man, that's it!" I will carry the light of knowledge that he shared until my passing. With great respect! Quan

Love, enthusiasm, discipline, optimism, consideration are but a few of the words that can be used describe the overwhelming character of Sifu Wayne Jackson. I met Sifu when I was 17 years old (in 2001) and trained in martial arts with him and the rest of the garage group for 4 years before moving to California to continue my training and schooling. There were many times when it was just Sifu and I working out. He gave guidance in martial arts, but more than that, he was a life coach. He taught by example—it was his character. I am deeply saddened by his loss. Nevertheless, his spirit lives on in those that were fortunate enough to know him. I am truly a better person because of Sifu Wayne. Rest in peace Sifu, you are missed.

Strong Side Forward,
Sifu Jared Ramsburg, PhD

Wayne and I worked at Nabisco during the time I was a sales representative from 1973-1997. I appreciated his dedication to his work and our customers did too. He always had a kind smile even on the most difficult days. I was saddened to hear of his recent passing and would like to extend my sympathies to his family.

I am truly saddened to hear of the passing of Wayne , who was one of the best people I have ever known. From our time in school until the last time I spoke with him at his home on Va. Ave., as I was passing thru town . Wayne was the same soft spoken, kind and honest person I knew as we grew up as young men in the Hagerstown community. What I do know is that Wayne was a good man and he will be missed.!!!!
My sincere condolences to entire JACKSON FAMILY,for your loss .!!!

Remember Wayne and Norma and the kids from our being neighbors on Wise Street in the 80's. Wayne was an extremely nice guy, good father and a great family man. I appreciate the fact we were friends and even though we didn't see each other often since we moved from Hagerstown, I still cherished his friendship. Wayne and Norma raised some great kids. Libby and I offer our heart felt condolences to all his family and friends.

I met SIFU WAYNE shortly after a tour in the Marines. I was looking for a martial arts school that taught Kung Fu. To say I was surprised that I found a school so close to Hagerstown is an understatement. I remember the first night I met WAYNE. He was so welcoming, professional, and ENTHUSIASTIC! I signed up on the spot and enjoyed training with him and the salt of the Earth students I met there. Sifu Wayne drew good people to him. His love of martial arts poured out the man! I will miss his special place in the world. I offer my deepest condolences to Sifu Wayne's family, friends, and students.

Sifu Wayne was an inspiration and role model to me when I needed it most. He showed me the art of real kung fu. Those of us who trained with him knew just how talented he really was and we certainly left his little garage with the bruises to prove it :) However, even greater than his talent was his enormous heart which, like the door to his dojo, was always open to all those he came in contact with. He was a kind soul and great man who will always be remembered. My heart goes out to his family in this difficult time. Rest In Peace Sifu
