Dear Cuz, you were loved by so many. Some say that one's life can be measured by the number of friends they have. If this is true, then you've had a great one! You've touched so many lives, you can certainly be proud! While we rarely got to spend time together, you've always been in my thoughts and in my heart! When I came to 3rd Base for the Boots book signing, Bill told me that he was sitting where Boots always sat. I said that I wanted to get a photo of the spot, but he insisted that I sit there and he took a photo of me. That gesture told me all I needed to know about Big Bill, and I have considered him my friend ever since. My sympathies, Cindi. RIP, Bill.
