We really wish we could be at the memorial service for Bill - but distance and health just won't allow it. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. He will certainly be missed by all. We always enjoyed being with Bill on our annual visits to Maryland.

Larry,Susie, and Anne and families. We were so sad to hear the news of your father. Your family was always part of our family. Bill was a quiet gentle man and always had a smile. We will miss him greatly. May God heal your broken hearts with time. Hugs and love to all. Bill and Lana Shawley

My deepest condolences to Susie, Annie, Larry and all of Bill's siblings, family and friends. I remember fondly all of the times Bill, Barbara and their kids visited our family and vice versa. I think it was Bill's wife Barbara who said jokingly that Bill came to his brother Jim's house to work, not to have a vacation. I remember one time he went out with us to saw firewood while visiting at our home. Anytime there was something to be done, Uncle Bill was right there. I also remember the one time when we had a billiards match, with Bill and big Jim on one team and my brother Roy and myself on the other. My Mom and I were able to stop and see Bill in July and I'm glad we did.

So sorry. Great guy to be around. Inquisitive and great sense of humor. I will miss my Uncle Bill.
