Mitchum Lee Fulmer, Sr.

Clearville, PA – Mitchum Lee Fulmer, Sr., 67, of Clearville, PA passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at UPMC Bedford Memorial in Everett, PA.

He was born on December 16, 1949 in Orange County, NY to the late Albert Clarence and Elizabeth Mae Heasley Fulmer.

He retired from the United States Marine Corps after 20 years and also retired from the Washington County Water Dept.

He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Hagerstown, MD.

He was also a member of IORM Conococheague Tribe #84 Williamsport, MD and Potomac Post #202 American Legion Williamsport, MD.

Mitchum is survived by his wife of 47 years Debra A. Bingaman Fulmer; son Mitchum L. Fulmer, Jr. and his wife Akiko of Murfreesboro, TN; son Shane M. Fulmer and his ex-wife Kate Fulmer of Hagerstown, MD; daughter Amanda F. Trumpower of Waynesboro, PA; son Sam Trumpower of Waynesboro, PA; loving grandchildren Riley, Mia, Colin, Hana, Shay, Chase and Delaney; sister Thelma Overly of Hunker, PA; sister Jean Aller of Mt. Pleasant, PA; sister Hazel Reese of Hagerstown, MD; sister Margaret Stevenson of Waynesboro, PA.

He was predeceased by a brother Albert C. Fulmer, Jr., sisters Georgette Radjilowsky, Debbie C. Fulmer, and Linda Pierre; and 2 infant brothers.

A memorial service will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ernest Witmer officiating. Military honors will be provided by Joint Veterans Council of Washington County and Marine Corps League of Hagerstown, MD.

Burial will be private.
