Mr. Farley will be fondly remember, a kind and loving man. I met Mr. Farley when I was in high school and married his son Gary. Mr. & Mrs. Farley were always a pleasure to be with, thank you for your love and care. My heart goes out to Mrs. Farley, Larry, Deb, Billy, Dayna, Toby, Josh, Jake and families. We were all truly bless to have had Mr. Farley in our lives, he was one of a kind. I am sure of it that Gary greeted his Dad with open arms, and the reunion in heaven is beautiful. God Bless Mr. Farley and his family. Love, Christie

Margie and Family,
I met Gene thru Potomac Post 202 American Legion. Gene was the Adjutant when I transferred to Post 202 from Post 73 Del City Oklahoma. When Gene decided he could not continue he asked me to replace him. It was approved by the board. He gave me a lot of help and guidance so I would learn the job, he knew so much it was unbelievable. There is no doubt in my mind that no one has given more to keep Post 202 afloat then Gene, he loved all Veterans and all Veteran groups. Gene was a true gentleman and a good friend and we will be missed dearly. Much sympathy to Margie, all the family and all of Gene's friends.

My sympathies and condolences to the family . Gene was my friend and supervisor at AT&T Hagerstown 2 for several years and was always a pleasure to be around and work with. He was a fun loving person. I left and took a position in Washington for a time then back to Blue Ridge Summit. I would see Gene occasionally in meetings until I left to move to NJ Headquarters in 1977. It was a pleasure and honor to have worked for such a nice person. . May he rest in peace
